Maroonstrike runs away out of fear after Riptidesmith returns to camp after their scuffle in the mountains. Something that Birds With Broken Wings didn't show but what was vital to his decision was that after the fight both Maroonstrike and Riptidesmith got caught in a sudden avalanche, and the moment they see each other in the medicine den is the first time after both believed the other to be dead- mental chaos ensues.
