A Creeper is a fictional creature from the sandbox video game Minecraft. Creepers are hostile mobs that can be encountered within the game world at any given time or location where such mobs spawn in the dark, such as nighttime. Creepers are the only mobs in-game that explode themselves and everything around them. Unlike zombies or skeletons that can survive in the sun, but tend to be in poorly lit areas. Creepers provide some useful materials when killed by players or certain Hostile Mobs.
